31/08/07 - Moyers to race at Knockhill
Michael Moyers is today
at the Knockhill circuit in Scotland preparing for this weekend's
Formula BMW
UK
Championship meeting. Moyers will be competing for
Hyperion Motorsport, his third outing for the
team
this
season following a solid debut at Rockingham in April and a
run of bad luck at Brands Hatch
earlier this month.
By competing at Knockhill Moyers, 22, will become
eligible for the Formula BMW World Finals in Valencia
in November,
something that his been his objective throughout this year. Moyers
said: "I want to thank
Steve Hindle and the team at Hyperion for
making this possible. Throughout 2007 my aim has been to
get as much
seat-time as possible and to make the World Finals. Hopefully we
can now find the budget
to
go to Valencia and put on a display that
will justify the faith that my sponsors and the team have
placed
in my ability."
Dan Woodington, Sporting Relations Director of
Michael's sponsorship agents Karbon Racing said: "It's
great news
that Michael is able to race at Knockhill, as it will allow him the
opportunity to go to Valencia
and show what he's truly capable of.
We are working tirelessly to secure him the budget for the World
Final and have created a package that offers great return on investment
for potential sponsors who are
lookingfor some fantastic brand exposure
and the opportunity to entertain key clients in a unique
environment."
